Carrie holds a Master's Degree in Education and has spent more than 32 years working in special education. Her experience includes co-teaching and collaborative instruction in inclusive classrooms, developing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 Plans, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and supporting students with autism, emotional disturbances, and complex behavioral needs.
She founded Carrie Albert's Learning Solutions, LLC because she recognized a gap between what schools can provide and what many families need—and believed her background and experience uniquely positioned her to bridge that gap.
When she's not at the center, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family in Mt. Lebanon. She is a proud wife and mother of two young men—one who is a sophomore at Penn State University and another who is a senior at Mount Lebanon High School. She is passionate about cooking, sports, and helping parents understand their educational rights.

Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Special and Deaf Education from Edinboro University. She's been working with kids across a wide range of ages and abilities for years — in homes, in classrooms, and now at our center.
She specializes in neurodiverse learners and has experience using sign language and assistive communication devices to make instruction accessible to every student in her care. Before joining the team, she worked in the elementary special education department at Plum Borough School District and at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.
Outside the center, Kaitlyn is a Pittsburgher through and through — you'll find her crafting, cooking, traveling, or cheering on the Steelers, Pens, or Pirates.
